My name is Colin R. Owen and some years back I wrote the book “The Military Badges and Insignia of Southern Africa.”
 The book was published in 1990.
It contains:
- 3991 photos of badges
- 1152 photos of cloth insignia which consist of wings, half wings and parachute wings with colour centres
- 1223 colour photos of flashes all the badges issued from 1850 to 1990.
